Summer in Eagle Mountain offers a wide range of activities that cater to residents of all ages; both young and old can find activities to take part in. From community celebrations to outdoor adventures, there’s something for everyone to enjoy in our vibrant city.
Pony Express Days: A Community Celebration
While Pony Express Days has already passed this year, it is not too late to look ahead to next year’s summer fun. Pony Express Days is an annual event in Eagle Mountain that celebrates the city’s heritage (being located along the Pony Express Trail) and community spirit. It includes parades, carnival rides, live entertainment, and various activities for families and individuals alike. Multiple days of events include informational and vendor booths, free kids activities, a demolition derby and more.
Other Community Events: Movies, Vendors and More
Missed Pony Express Days? Once a month the city also hosts Movies in the Park at the Silverlake Amphitheatre, as well as a few other events during the summer such as a Laser show. Additionally, every weekend the Eagle Mountain Farmer’s Market is a great way to interact with local vendors and enjoy the day out. The Market is hosted at Cory B. Wride Park June though September.

Local Parks and Trails: Nature at Your Doorstep
Eagle Mountain boasts several parks and trails that provide opportunities for outdoor recreation and relaxation. Residents can explore scenic walking paths, challenging mountain trails, and enjoy picnics surrounded by nature. There is so much to discover and even after much effort there is still more to explore. Additionally the city is next to BLM land that allows for even more connection with nature. The City is also known for its bike trails and has a park specifically dedicated to mountain biking.
